That was deep Mrs. Now with those kind of words- and by the way, I have never pirated anything, I know some who have - I just want to hit those Pirates over the head! They don't even deserve to have their names capitalized! I'm angry at them! Chima i hear exactly what your saying. I do belive its wrong to do this kind of thing to the author. You spent your time creating a story for us all to enjoy and trust me i loved them enough to read each one twice and the least we can do to repay you for such a great story is buy copies of the book to help you keep your publisher.
One download does not equal one lost sale.
I, for one, pirated each of your books. Each time I finished one, I immediately went and purchased a copy because I love them so dearly. In my experience, most people that use torrents, still purchase a copy of the books as well as movies, games, and music that truly stood out and meant something to them.
Rest assured, each of your books have a place in my library, proudly on display. I love each and every title thus far.

I will, however, download the next before purchasing. Hi, just doing a search on you so I could read more of your books when I came upon this site. I love your books. You are my new favorite author and I read all the time! Thanks so much for sharing your talent. I just finished the Dragon Heir and what a fun series that was. I've recommended it to my whole family and it has been a series that we've shared and passed around. I'm asking for this Heir Series at Christmas. Thanks and keep writing, Tonya: I guess you don't share similar views with Neil Gaiman does then.
Hi, so I wanted to express my opinion here. If you compare a paperprinted book to and ebook the prices are the same. How is that even possible?! The prizes of ebooks should be half of what they are today!!! The cost of producing an E-book is literally 0 dollars.
The book takes at most couple of Mb thats literally nothing. Sorry for my poor english grammar its not my first language. Besides, half of the books I want aren't translated and nobody is pkanning to do it, so I'have to get them online in a language I'm not use to read, and since I don't have a bank account or PayPal, I have to get them for free.
The Crimson Crown
I was about to find a free version of your book the demon king. But read this and it had completely changed my mind on the entire conversation of the sorts.
Stealing is stealing.
Thank you for being so concise and captivating even outside of your work. Because of the passion you have shown in your work and wooed me as a reader in 10th grade in oss out of school suspension now as a 21 year old I am going back to recover my ambitions you have driven quietly and confidently. Thank you for the inspiration, merry Christmas I'm buying your entire series after i post this message.
There Is much controversy about this particular issue, and I have done a little research on the subject. What I have found is that when someone downloads a book or app or song or anything else for free they are actually helping the artist more than hurting them. In many cases an individual will not purchase the product originally but when they obtain it for free they often times share it among peers and their respective social groups to those that may actually purchase it where they would have other wise never heard or it.
Essentially they are advertising your product for you free of charge.
In conclusion people who download your books for free expand your reader base and increase your profits so don't be happy or angry about simply accept it as a inevitable occurrence that can help you in the long run. The only justification I have for pirating music, books, and games is to use it as a demo, should one not be available through legitimate means.
Especially if it's a song, you want to know you actually like the song before you pay for it.
But I would only ever pirate a book if a free sample was not available on Amazon. As it happens, I was given my copy of Demon King and loved it enough to buy the remaining books in the series and also the Heir series. I even went to an event to get them signed and buy Sorcerer Heir in person.
As an author myself yet unpublished , I understand the need to discourage piracy. However, it's equally important to provide samples of your work to potential buyers to avoid dissatisfied customers and sell to those who appreciate and who might leave positive reviews of the work in question.

Epic finale indeed! I had a great time reading it, was on the edge of my seat to nearly the very end, and was struggling to think of how the heroes were going to escape with their lives——if they lived at all. This finale doesn't hold back on the drama and tension and many, many betrayals. Most of the action took place in the final half of the book, with the primary have revolving around Raisa as she tries to establish herself as a new queen, while enemies——both known and unknown——close in around her.
She maintains her strength and is on the front lines when Fells is in peril and siege which happens a lot. I was always rooting for this girl, and she felt like a real person when she showed moments of vulnerability and passion. She kinda broke my heart a couple times, and I loved her for it. Han's chapters were also completely compelling. He's not a simple character, that much is true. I understood his motivations and wanted him to succeed, but since he was embroiled in so many lies and tricks, it was a little fascinating to watch them all completely collapse around him.
I still think Dancer is my favourite character and wish he could get a side story of his own. He's ludicrously powerful, has an excellent backstory, and deserves more of the spotlight! I feel kind of weird saying this, but I kind of felt bad for Micah.
I'm not saying I ever loved him, but I do think that near the end he was being all but bullied. Again, not saying I support him or wanted him to have a complete HEA, but I think he had the potential for more. Also, the epilogue was perfect to me. I'd been waiting for it for a long time, and it was oh so satisfying. I have few nitpicks to offer. I'm sure they're there no book is perfect after all , but honestly, I'm so satisfied with this finale that I can't be bothered to look for them.
The action was intense, the drama shocking, the romance heart-warming, the characters cheer-worthy, and the magic thrilling. This is a great fantasy series and I'm super excited to see how its sequel series is going to unfold. Count me in for more adventures in the Seven Realms! This review MAY contain spoilers.
Read at your own risk. Sweet Hanalea, the ending to this series was so glorious! I loved every moment of it!
I have been sitting here trying to put into words what I am feeling right now after finishing this book and the word that comes to mind is satisfied. One of the things that really drives this story is the expertly devised plot. I couldn't help but be completely invested in this story. I lost more than a few hours of sleep because I simply could not put this book down. Those are the types of stories that stay with you and this one certainly will.
As a matter of fact, I have already purchased the first book in the follow-up series! I loved the author's use of foreshadowing. Just the right amount of information was given so that the reader knew them to be of importance, but not enough to give anything away too soon. The twists and turns in the plot were always surprising and satisfying. The pacing of the story was perfect. I was always left wanting more. The story was filled with action, political intrigue, romance, betrayal, and magic!
The world building is just as vibrant in this installment of the series. The author really has a way of pulling the reader into the story to experience the world. I felt completely immersed in this world the whole time.
I really liked the addition and explanation of some the history of their world with regard to the Demon King and Hanalea. If you have ever wondered if it is possible to love characters to the point of exhaustion then I can tell you now that it is. My love for these characters grew with each and every book of this series.
The character growth is exceptional!
